Exercises

These calf muscle exercises are used for calf development and balance:

  • Seated Barbell Toe Raise – This exercise perfects the gastrocnemius and especially the broad soleus muscles located just below the gastrocnemius.
  • Standing Toe Raise on Power Rack – This exercise perfects the main calf muscle.
  • Leg Press Machine Toe Raise – This exercise perfects the main calf muscle and the buttocks.

Experiment with the many different calf machines in the gym.
