Stress Heart Rate
The prescribed heart rate in the stress phase of a given microcycle.
Stress Duration
The prescribed time (minutes or seconds) the stress heart rate is sustained.
Recovery Heart Rate (RHR)
The prescribed recovery heart rate reached in the recovery phase of a given microcycle.
Recovery Duration
The time it takes to reach a prescribed recovery heart rate before you start another interval. You must not begin the next interval until you reach this recovery heart rate. As your condition improves you will be able to recovery quicker from the exercise stress.
Exercise Duration
The total amount of time of the stress and recovery phases of a given microcycle. This does not include warm-up or cool-down routines.
