Microcycle Interval Training Instructions

The recommended Interval Training Program uses a four-week Microcycle training protocol to achieve maximum cardiorespiratory endurance and fat utilization. The first three weeks of the Microcycle training protocol stimulates three different metabolic pathways:

  • Week 1: Oxygen - O2
     
  • Week 2: Lactic Acid - LA2
     
  • Week 3: Adenosine Tri phosphate – ATP and Creation Phosphate -CP.

The fourth week of the microcycle training protocol is used for active recovery. Active recovery is an essential part of interval training.
