  • Use a heart rate monitor. It is important to know how many calories you are expending. This is easy when you use a heart rate monitor during any exercise session. The Program will calculate your caloric expenditure and adjust your program, accordingly.
  • All you need to do is tells us what the average heart rate was during your exercise session and what was the exercise duration. Heart rate monitors have many other advantages in that you can monitor your rate of improvement as you exercise and you have a way to identify when you are overtraining.
